William J. Lawson, Jr. and Mia E. Lawson practice primarily in Estate Planning and Trust with offices in Plymouth and Brighton. They serve clients throughout Southeast Michigan in Wayne, Oakland, Washtenaw and Livingston Counties, including the cities of Ann Arbor, Detroit, Canton, Farmington, Farmington Hills, Howell, Livonia, Milford, Northville, Novi, Plymouth, and South Lyon. Clients get personal and prompt attention in their offices.

They have represented Comerica Bank and JP Morgan Chase frequently as attorneys to the Trustee.

Bill is a certified mediator with registration in Wayne, Oakland and Washtenaw Counties. In addition to Estate Planning and Trusts, he handles real estate and business start-ups. He has practiced for 35 years and Detroit Business lists him as an outstanding attorney in Southeast Michigan and is AV rated. He has served as a moderator for many ICLE programs in Estate Planning and Trusts and is a member of the Washtenaw Estate Planning Council. He has served as a board member for the Michigan Public School Retirement System; the Community Foundation of Plymouth has named his as their Chairman.
Mia has specialties in Family Law, and Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 Consumer Bankruptcy. She has represented individuals as a court-appointed Probate attorney in Livingston County. She has an interest in Estate Planning for non-traditional families as well as couples in second- or more- marriages. She is also a member of the Washtenaw Estate Planning Counsel.
